Seahorse Camp WEEK 1

This registration is for WEEK 1 of Seahorse Camp: June 10th-14th. Families may only sign up for a maximum of TWO weeks.  If there are still openings available after March 20, families who would like to register for a third week may do so. Those who attempt to register for three weeks before March 20 will not be approved, and will not have a confirmed spot

Las Trampas Swim Team is pleased to offer Seahorse Day Camp as a way of extending your swimmer's day at the pool. The daily schedule will include a mix of organized games, creative activities and onsite entertainment.

Camp will be staffed each day with two adult Assistant Camp Directors and two teen counselors. Counselors will accompany campers in the pool at all times. Our staff will make sure your camper gets to swim practice on time, has the right gear, wears sunblock and drinks water throughout the day.

Camp Hours:

  • 9:00 AM - 2:00 PM

Weekly Rates

  • $300 per camper per week
  • Optional add-on: Snack Shack Tuesday Meal Deal $9

Camper Requirements

  • Recommended ages are 5-10
  • Campers MUST be swim safe and must pass a water safety test on their first day of camp.
  • Campers must be current members of the Las Trampas Pool
  • Campers must be registered to swim for the 2024 Las Trampas Swim Team or Sea Ponies program. Exceptions can be made after March 27th, if space permits.

  • New accounts will be sent an email confirmation message with instructions to set up a password.
  • Previously registered parents/guardians cannot be edited during registration. Please contact your team's admin to request edits.

Camp Policies Acknowledgement

GENERAL

1. Seahorse Camp is open to LT swim team members between the ages of 5 and 10.
2. Standard policy is to have a staffing ratio of 1 staff member to 10 children.
3. Campers must be checked in and out of camp daily by an adult on his/her emergency form, or have written approval to ride/walk home.
4. Seahorse Camp is not responsible for personal items. Please label all clothing and belongings.

ELECTRONIC
The use of cell phones or other electronics are NOT permitted at Seahorse Camp. If electronics are brought to camp, they need to stay in backpacks at all times.

SWIM
Your child must be a member of the Las Trampas Swim Team. Exceptions may be allowed after March 27th, if space permits. Your child must be able to swim independently. NO EXCEPTIONS. A water safety test will be required on the first day of camp.

INAPPROPRIATE BEHAVIOR
Seahorse Camp's definition of inappropriate behavior includes but is not limited to:
1. Aggressiveness toward other children and staff members such as yelling, spitting, hitting, kicking, pinching, biting or throwing of objects.
2. Damaging Las Trampas property, equipment or the other property of children.
3. Repeatedly ignoring instructions given by Camp Management.
4. Use of profanity or rebellious behavior towards the staff or other children.

Progressive discipline will include the following:
First incident: verbal warning will be provided
Second incident: Camper will sit out of activity and parent(s) will be notified of behavior at pick up.
Third incident: Parent will be called to pick up Camper.

ILLNESS
In order to protect all of the children at Seahorse Camp, our staff will do a visual well check before admitting each child. We want to ensure a healthy environment and ask that you not bring your camper if he/she has symptoms of COVID or any other virus, including but not limited to: runny nose, cough, sore throat, pink eye, stomach flu, rash or skin irritation. A child needs to be fever free without the aid of a fever reducer for a minimum of 24 hours before returning to Seahorse Camp. If your Camper exhibits any of these symptoms due to allergies, please let us know and bring a doctor's note so we are aware of his/her condition.
