Dear Seahorse Families,

Welcome to the 2026 Las Trampas Swim Team Season! We're so excited to welcome back our returning seahorses and extend a warm welcome to our 20 new LTST families. Here are a few updates before practice starts tomorrow (rain or shine!):

We are still looking for 14+ aged seahorses to be in-the-water helpers during the first 2 weeks of preseason (sign up here) as well as Mudskipper-Sea Pony helpers this summer (sign up here).

Please remember that the focus of swim practice is...swim practice. Please support swimmers in the water as well as coaches by monitoring disruptive play by siblings, various sports balls finding their way into the pool, etc. Encouraged activities include homework, reading, and board games.

The Swim Team Kick-Off Meeting will be Sunday, May 3rd from 3pm-4pm by the Snack Shack. New Families: We *highly* recommend you attend this meeting, especially if this is your first summer on a rec swim team!

Our parent job coordinator extraordinaires, Kaitlin Lewis and Patrick & Lauren Decker are working diligently to prep for the upcoming parent job registration on May 4th. Please review the parent job policy. Consistent with prior years, we will hold a lottery for a parent job buy-out ($800 if won). If you are interested in the lottery, please email ([email protected]) indicating your interest by Saturday, April 25th at 8pm. If you win the lottery, you will still be responsible for jobs at DCSL and any invitationals.

Do you have a swim suit in decent shape that no longer fits your swimmer? Be sure to check out the LTST Swimsuit Exchange box over by the entry gate. Open through May 2, simply put your suit in a sealable plastic bag and drop it in. See more info in our Google Form, here. Please visit our online team store for other gear needs!
