Welcome Back Seahorse Families,

We hope everyone had a lovely July 4th break! Here is your weekly dose of reminders and announcements (see separate email about socials - these events are definitely of "the more the merrier" variety!).

Our DCSL Championship meet is approaching! Please declare now on the signup calendar. We'll be in touch re: jobs once the meet sign-up closes on Friday. In preparation for this meet, we have an opportunity for swimmers to practice in the Acalanes High School pool (where DCSL will be held) on Thursday, July 23rd from 2-3pm. Mark your calendars!

HOX Last Chance Meet - Is your swimmer looking to squeeze in a couple more pops before the end of the season? The HOX last chance meet is a great opportunity! Please sign-up by Sunday, 7/12. There is a $12 splash fee per swimmer and $10 entry fee per race.

Please note that there will be NO 7-8 or 6&u practice on Friday, because we're going to...Saddle up for our famous LTST Carnival on Friday, July 10, from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm! This year's Wild West theme is packed with games, prizes, a dunk tank, and plenty of food (hot dogs, watermelon, and root beer floats). It's a great chance for our Sprinting Spurs, Diving Desperados, Frontier Freestylers, and Kickin' Cowpokes to earn spirit points and, most importantly, have a blast with their teammates! We currently have a tie for FIRST...Here are the point totals so far: 

• Sprinting Spurs: 90 
• Frontiers Freestylers: 90 
• Diving Desperados: 72 
• Kickin' Cowpokes: 58 

If your swimmer plans to attend, please add their name to the SUG so we can get an accurate food count. We can't wait to see everyone there for a rootin' tootin' good time.

Parent Jobs Reminders: Please be aware of our sub and fine policies. We have had an increase in folks not showing for their jobs or hiring a sub without notification, forcing our parent jobs volunteers to rush around and find a replacement. While *most* folks have paid their fines, please remember that failure to do so will result in your swimmers’ removal from remaining meets until the fines are paid. This is no fun for anyone. Seriously.

Star Jobs: We've been enjoying this season and working with so many wonderful parents such as yourselves. If you are a wonderful parent *and* would like to get more involved, perhaps with like, a Star Job or something... we encourage you to start taking a look around now to see what might be the most fun for you, since the directors start planning for next season in September. You can find a list of the Star Jobs here. Please reach out to us to express interest!

Coach Breakfast: Please consider bringing the coaches some "fuel" to get them through these last three action-packed weeks of our summer season! There are a lot of open dates on the sign-up page!
