Friday Night Lights Fall Invitational - LIV
2533 Trotter Way, Walnut Creek, CA 94596
Start: 4:30 PM
Warm-up: 3:30 PM
End: 9:00 PM
The Livorna Dolphins are hosting our 3rd Annual Friday Night Lights Fall Invitational on Friday, September 18. This is an opportunity for swimmers to participate in a Fall-themed swim meet centered around FUN. This year, the meet includes swimmers from Del Amigo, Dana Hills, Forest Hills, Indian Valley, Las Trampas, Larkey, Orinda Country Club, Rancho Colorados, Roundhill, and Woodlands! GENERAL INFORMATION - This meet is open to all LTST swimmers, regardless of whether or not you participate in Fall Clinic.
- LT swimmers must register and enter as a team (use the regular Attend / Decline feature on the website)
- Pricing will be $5 splash fee (per swimmer), plus $5 per swim
- We will be asked to provide a few volunteers to fulfill jobs/ timing requirements (they will make the burden as light as possible for visiting teams, commensurate with the number of swimmers entered)
TIMELINE - Entry deadline is September 9 at 6pm.
- Pool will open for warm ups at 3:30pm and close at 4:20pm
- Warm up lane assignments and time slots will be communicated within a few days before the meet and based on # of swimmers per team.
- Meet begins at 4:30pm and must end by 9:00pm sharp.
ENTRY DETAILS - Swimmers will swim in the age they will swim in Summer 2027.
- Max 3 events per swimmer
- All events will be mixed gender and swum fastest to slowest and oldest to youngest (in the case of tied entry times). SWIMMERS MUST HAVE AN ENTRY TIME; manual entry times are OK but please verify with coaches that the times are reasonable. This helps ensure we keep the meet moving and swimmers are seeded with swimmers close to their speed.
- The 200 Freestyle, Event #14, is open to swimmers ages 13-18 and is a bonus event. It does not count against entry limits, but we may have to cancel this event as the meet must be over by 9pm at the very latest, no exceptions.
- 6&Us must do 25s only, ages 9 and up must do 50s+. Aside from the 100yd IM (for ages 7-19), 100yd events are for swimmers 9-18.
- For the sake of keeping the meet moving, we are encouraging the following:
- Swimmers in the 7-8 age group to limit entries to 1 x 50 yard event (plus two other 25yd events or 100ydIM for stronger swimmers...If your new 7-8 has not done the 100yd IM before and cannot complete the event in under 2:30, please do not sign them up for the 100yd IM).
- Swimmers in 9-10 and 11-12 age group to limit 100 yd events to two (they can still do three events, just no more than 2 x 100 yard events). i.e. Please don’t enter swimmers in these age groups into three 100yard events.

There are no assigned lanes for teams during any warmup periods. Relays: Teams may enter a maximum of 2 relay teams per event. The qualifying relay time can either be a time achieved by that relay during the 2026 summer rec season, or a sum of the 4 entered swimmers top times in those strokes. However, the 4 names of the entered swimmers must be included in the entries. Those swimmers’ names will be listed in the program and on any awards that team receives. It is up to individual teams to correct those awards once they are received. It is not necessary to list any alternates for relays in the entry file. Team Areas: Team area information and map will be distributed by Wednesday, July 29th. Please see the note above in the Stroke and Turn section regarding team areas. General team area setup will begin at 3pm on Friday, July 31st. Teams with priority setup will be given further instructions leading up to the meet.
