Sat Jul 15 2023	LT / SVST / RC Swim Team Dance Acalanes High School Gym Start: 6:00 PM End: 8:00 PM Our friends from Sun Valley and Rancho Colorados have invited Las Trampas to participate in an all-ages SWIM TEAM DANCE! Swimmers: Gather up your swim team friends, dress in LT spirit wear or 80's Themed Disco attire, and come down to Acalanes High School for a fun night of music and dancing. RESPONSE REQUIRED - REGISTER HERE. DEADLINE TO REGISTER IS JULY 9. 6pm Doors Open 6:30p - 8p The Dance (doors will be closely monitored with limited in and out access) DJ: Jen Grossi Chaperones: All swimmers 8 and under will need a designated adult present. Adults can watch multiple swimmers. Mudskippers and Sea Ponies are also welcome to attend this event! Highlights: Step and Repeat Photo Opportunity with Props upon entry Sign-in Wall Loads of fun decorations A contained rest area in front of Gym with water for swimmers needing a break Post dance food trucks BAY AREA MUNCHIEZ (serving hot dogs, burgers, chicken sandwiches, veggie sandwiches) and KONA ICE will be outside the gym. Individuals pay for their own meal. Both trucks will set up at 7p and be ready for service around 7:30p. Sun Valley said that they would LOVE help from older swimmers with decorating from 5:10pm to 6pm
Sat Jul 15 2023	Job Signup closed Meet Entry closed LTST @ FHST Forest Hills Aquatic Park Start: 8:30 AM Warm-up: 8:00 AM End: 12:30 PM Directions: 375 Lindsey Dr Martinez, CA 94553. EARLIER MEET START TIME!! This meet starts at 8:30 AM, so please plan accordingly! Warmups are at 8AM. PARKING NOTES: Our pool is located at 375 Lindsey Drive, Martinez. Lindsey Drive is off of Alhambra Avenue and is a dead-end street at the pool. There is no visitor parking in our pool parking lot, please park on Lindsey Dr. or any of the streets off Lindsey. Please respect our neighbors’ driveways, including the fire road gate off the cul-de-sac adjacent to the pool entrance. A wagon/cart may be helpful to transport gear from your car to the pool, as it is up a small hill. TEAM AREA: Visiting teams will be on the grassy hill above the pool area near the picnic benches. Please note that the playground is closed and off limits. RELAY NOTES: We will plan on starting all individual events for 9/10 and over as fly-over starts, except for backstroke. Due to the water depth at the shallow end of the pool, diving starts are not allowed for safety reasons. In the water starts will be used for the second and fourth swimmers in the 6U, and 7/8 relays. We ask that swimmers stay out of the starting area until the long whistle for their heat. Visitors enter the starting area from the lane 6 side of the pool.
Fri Jul 14 2023	Job Signup closed Spirit Carnival Las Trampas Pool Start: 11:00 AM End: 1:00 PM It's our annual Spirit Carnival! The Kids Spirit / Social Coordinators have been working hard to organize this fun event for our Seahorses. Some of the events include Big Splash, Ring Toss, and Fishing for Prizes. Wear the color of your Spirit Team to earn extra Spirit Points! Remember, the Spirit Team with the most points at the end of the season wins a special prize at Awards Night. Regular practices for 6 & unders, Mudskippers, and Sea Ponies are canceled on Friday, July 14 so that everyone can attend this fun event.

Sun Jul 9 2023	Job Signup closed Fundraiser: Water Polo Games! Las Trampas Pool Start: 2:00 PM End: 4:00 PM (estimated) We are looking for some people to help out with water polo games to be played by some of our swimmers and parents! Jobs TBD, date may change.
Sat Jul 8 2023	Job Signup closed Talent Show + Movie Night Las Trampas Pool Start: 7:30 PM End: 10:00 PM (estimated) 7:30 - 8:30 PM, Talent Show 8:30 - 10:00 PM, Family Movie Calling all Seahorses! Come down to the pool for an evening to showcase your talents (besides swimming!) At this fun event, we see other areas where our swimmers shine - playing an instrument, telling jokes, singing a song, performing a dance routine, and more! If you have a talent you would like to share with your LT family, please sign up (link coming soon). Please limit your act to 2-3 minutes in length. After the Talent Show, we will watch a family-friendly movie on the lawn at LT. Bring your own cozy blanket.
